Awww, what the fuck...

- Trashed by SampahMan @ 11:33 PM

Was flipping through my latest issue of Time Magazine and they had an article about J.K. Rowling. I wasn't really paying much attention. I know I'm reading it, but I don't know what I'm reading. History lessons come to mind, anyone?

!!!NO SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

I got interested by this colorful Harry Potter sidebar article called "The Unanswered Questions". What I failed to notice was a very colorful wizardy looking graphic that said "SPOILER ALERT!". In fact, the title would have told an alert mind of the nature of the article, but my lazy mind wasn't registering.

Well, if you're familiar with Harry Potter: The Half-Assed Prince, you'll know that one of the biggest events was the death of a major character. Well, I found out through this article. I didn't really get it at first, it was exposed really subtlely, but after 10 seconds after reading it, it was an absolutely appropriate WTF moment. WTF.

Anyway, here's an interesting question. When would be an appropriate time to start discussing with everyone without who died (without having to shh-shh to the people who have not read Harry Potter)? 3 months? 6 months? 1 year?
In Southpark's Episode 602 - Jared Has Aides, AIDS was finally considered funny after 22.3 years! Amazing!
