10 Day Vegan Diet
- Trashed by SampahMan @ 11:28 AM
So over the weekend, I went to the Anthony Robbins seminar right. It's mostly about discovering/reaffirming your goals in life, what you want to achieve etc etc etc. So at the end of the seminar, the dude gave us a choice to take on a 10 day challenge, with 10 separate challenges in it. One of the challenges was to eliminate all dairy and meat from the diet, for 10 days. Claims that after the 10 days, you will feel really energetic and have full vitality after your body has detox-ed.So I say, why not. My diet was pretty crappy already, and it often caused me any bowel problems *wink wink*, so I took on his challenge with gusto.
Now for someone who thinks he will never be able to give up meat EVER, and to do it for 10 days(my record was 3 days, which I have just broken this morning at 4 days), it's like asking MJ not to molest bo...wait, let's not go there.
So I have to figure out what I am going to eat right? Big problem there. It's not like I can just waltz out of the house into a vegetarian restaurant, because, the point is to eat more greens, healthily (the stuff outside has tons of sodium, oil, and dare I say, MSG?)
So I have to prepare my own meals, so here's what has been crossing into my mouth since 13th June 2005
13th June
Afternoon: Sausage Puff + Tuna Sandwich (The last piece of meat I took. I can still taste that piece of meat melting in my mouth)
Dinner: Apple + Honey Water (Really had no idea what to eat)
14th June, back to work
Afternoon: Nasi Briyani with cucumber only (Still very oily)
Dinner: Garden Salad + Vegetable Lasagna + Carrot/Cucumber Juice (Was meeting friends, and had to eat something)
15th June
Breakfast: Carrot/Jambu/Cucumber Juice
Afternoon: Salad with Italian dressing (I hate salad)
Dinner: Rice + Steamed Broccoli + Sauteed Long Beans (Relatively yummy)
16th June
Breakfast: Carrot/Jambu Juice
Afternoon (now): I'm planning to go for economy rice.
Anyway, what's the verdict after 4 days of torture? I wake up with a clearer mind, I even went for a jog in the morning, I feel less sleepy(maybe it's only because I sleep around 12am now), but do I feel full of energy and vitality yet? Not yet, but I think it's probably cause my body is de-toxing?
The verdict's still out on that one, but keep your eyes peeled to this section.
Oh, anyone has any healthy recipes to share, feel free :)

What other plans do you have after UPW, other than beating the 10-day challenge?
Money, porn, telling lies. Seriously, not something to talk about in a blogging site, especially a blog that doesn't take itself too seriously.
